Dr. Jonathan Wolfe

Dr. Wolfe grew up in Colorado, and moved out to New York in 2010 when he started Optometry school. Shortly after graduating with honors in 2014, he met his wife, and decided that he liked this area so much that he made it his goal to open an office of his own here. After learning the ropes at optometry and ophthalmology private practices in Westchester, he opened Ardsley Eye Care in 2019. When he’s not examining eyes, Dr. Wolfe enjoys going to parks and zoos with his wife and son, and tolerates going for runs in his neighborhood.

Dr. Wolfe has extensive experience treating eye and lid infections, managing glaucoma and macular degeneration, and working with chronic dry eyes, in addition to routine adult and pediatric eye care. He is also one of the first providers certified to fit first FDA-approved myopia control soft lenses.

Dr. Wolfe’s exam philosophy revolves around clear communication; ensuring that his patients understand every important finding, and that they leave the office with a feeling that all of their questions were addressed. He’s so enthusiastic about sharing information about the eyes that his tips, findings, and experiences have been featured in NBC News, Healthline, Reader’s Digest, and other publications.
