We offer a wide variety of glasses frames, and an assortment of the highest quality lens designs. For simpler glasses prescriptions, Dr. Wolfe goes a few steps further; taking frame and pupil measurements before cutting and finishing the lenses himself in the office.

We also take several vision discount plans.

Lens Options

Types of Lenses

Single Vision

The same prescription throughout the entire lens

Flat-top Bifocal

The distance and reading prescriptions are separated by a visible line.  No intermediate prescription is present

Progressive

A seamless, no-line lens that contains the distance prescription at the top of the lens, the reading prescription at the bottom, and all intermediate powers in the middle

High-Index Lenses

A more dense lens material that allows for a thinner lens profile in higher prescriptions. Strongly recommended for prescriptions greater than +/-4.00.

Polycarbonate Lenses

A more shatter-resistant lens material.  Strongly recommended, and in some cases required for all patients under 18 years old. Also recommended for patients who have just one functioning eye, or severe visual impairment.

Coatings and Treatments

Blue-Light Filter

This coating can reduce strain and discomfort for patients accustomed to heavy computer use.

Transition lenses

These lenses are able to change into tinted/sunglass lenses of a variety of different colors when outdoors. Note: the effect is limited when the wearer is in their car, since the widows block the UV light needed to activate the darkening of the lens.

Anti-Reflective

Reduces the amount of glare seen by the wearer, and reduces the amount of glare seen coming off of the wearer's glasses by someone else. Some anti-reflective coatings include added UV protection.

Scratch-resistance

Reduces tendency for lenses to pick up minor scratches.

Solid Tint

Turn any lens into prescription sunglasses. Many colors are available, and the patient is able to select just how light or dark they want the lens to be.
