METICULOUS EYE EXAMS in a low stress setting

Whether you need a new glasses prescription, or simply want to ensure that your eyes are as healthy as they can be, Dr. Wolfe performs exams on patients of all ages. He has special training that focused on pediatric care, and would be more than happy to examine children as young as 2 years of age.

During the routine eye examination, Dr. Wolfe evaluates the following:

  • Visual Acuity (how well you can see with/without glasses)

  • Eye Muscle Alignment (whether one of your eyes tends to drift out or in)

  • Pupils (how well they respond to light)

  • Eye Muscle Movement

  • Color Vision

  • Binocularity/Stereopsis (how well the eyes work together)

  • Refraction (finding the power of the lenses you may need in your glasses)

  • Evaluation of eyelids, lashes, and anterior surface of the eyes using a slit-lamp microscope

  • A dilated fundus examination to evaluate the lens, optic nerve, macula, and peripheral retina
